Youngchief Consulting & Training is led by a team of experienced Indigenous industry professionals dedicated to workforce development, safety leadership, and skilled trades training. Together, Tyler Youngchief, Natasha Youngchief, and Kelly Badger bring decades of combined experience in the oil and gas, industrial safety, scaffolding, and community development sectors.

Their collective expertise ranges from frontline trade work and operational oversight to occupational health & safety, Indigenous engagement, mentorship, and certified scaffold instruction through the Scaffold & Access Industry Association. United by a shared commitment to building safer worksites and stronger Indigenous workforce pathways, the team is focused on delivering practical, culturally grounded training directly to First Nation communities and industrial partners across Canada.

Natasha Youngchief

Natasha Youngchief is a safety and Indigenous workforce development professional with extensive experience supporting industrial and community-based projects across the oil and gas sector. She holds a diploma in Occupational Health & Safety from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and a Certified Aboriginal Land Manager.

With a strong background in health, safety, compliance, and Indigenous engagement, Natasha brings practical industry knowledge and culturally informed leadership to every project. Her experience working within industrial environments and First Nation communities allows her to support safe operations, workforce development, and sustainable community capacity building.

Tyler Youngchief

Tyler Youngchief is an experienced industrial professional with over 18 years in the oil and gas sector, bringing extensive knowledge from frontline field operations to leadership and operational management. His career has included hands-on trade experience, division management, workforce coordination, and consulting in operational oversight across industrial projects.

As a certified Journeyman and Instructor through the Scaffold & Access Industry Association, Tyler is committed to developing skilled, safety-focused workers through practical, industry-driven training. His leadership combines real-world industrial expertise with a strong focus on Indigenous workforce development, mentorship, and community capacity building.

Kelly Badger

Kelly Badger is a certified Journeyman and Instructor through the Scaffold & Access Industry Association with more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Having worked across numerous industrial sites and projects, Kelly brings extensive field knowledge, practical expertise, and a strong commitment to safe scaffold practices.

Throughout his career, he has mentored and apprenticed many Indigenous learners entering the scaffolding trade, helping develop skilled workers through hands-on instruction, leadership, and real-world industry guidance. His experience and dedication make him a valued leader in workforce development and industrial training.
